Medio 2006 kwamen 3 leden van de
geïmplodeerde electro/world/ambient band Tranquilo Biting (o.a. Lowlands ‘00,
NL); Jos, Robby & Gerard, bijeen om een nieuwe band te vormen. Zij besloten
het traditionele bandconcept volledig los te laten en vormden de ambiënt
jam-band Tres Diletantes (3 Amateurs). Robby's passie zijn Beats, Percussie
& Gitaar, Jos' Electronica, Groovebox & Sequence, Gerard's Didgeridoo,
Sampling & Harmonics. Samen zijn zij een onlosmakelijk midi-verbonden
muzikaal organisme. De jams nemen zij op en Gerard bewerkt deze tot behapbare
'songs'.
Medio 2006 3 members of the

Jos, Robby & Gerard, came together to form a new band. They decided to
completely let go the traditional band concept and formed the ambient jam band
Tres Diletantes (3 Amateurs). Robby's passion is Beats, Percussion & Guitar,
Jos' Electronics, Groove box & Sequencing, Gerard's Didgeridoo, Sampling
& Harmonics. Together they are an inextricably midi-linked musical organism.
The jams are recorded and Gerard edits them into manageable 'songs'.
